What is it about?
Drought is increasing in frequency and intensity globally, creating stressful conditions for plants. While we understand that plants individually respond to water stress, it is less clear how the interactions, facilitation (positive interactions) and competition (negative interactions), between plants will change under increasing water stress. This review addresses how plant-plant interactions during and after drought may influence the creation of new plant communities.
