What is it about?

This review covers recent examples where the wildflower genus Mimulus (monkeyflowers) was used to investigate the developmental genetics and evolution of ecologically important plant traits. These examples suggest that Mimulus offers ample opportunities to address long-standing questions in plant development, physiology, and evolution.
