What is it about?
Pollination interactions are known to be sensitive to environmental disturbances such as biological invasions, species extinctions and land use change. We show that in remnant native tropical forests, introduced pollinators are partially replacing the function of lost specialized native pollinators, but that this may lead to negative consequences for the reproduction of native plants, as a result of changes in received pollen quantity and quality.
