Caterpillars induce jasmonates in flowers and alter plant responses to a second attacker

What is it about?

We studied how flowering plants deal with detrimental insects and microbes. Our results show that flowering plants protect more the flowers than the leaves and that plants can defend themselves better against the caterpillars than against the aphids.
