B-chrom: a database on B-chromosomes

What is it about?

B-chromosomes are supernumerary or accessory chromosomes that are found only in some individuals. We present here B-chrom (www.bchrom.csic.es) an online database containing information on B-chromosomes in plants, animals and fungi. We have analysed the occurrence of Bs across the three kingdoms and we have observed certain correlations and interesting relationships.
