Shifts in water availability mediate plant-pollinator interactions

What is it about?

Most work on responses of pollination to climate change has focused on flowering phenology, with little known about effects mediated by responses of floral traits to resources. This study demonstrates that plant responses to water availability may be an important mechanism by which climate change will affect species interactions.
