What is it about?
Euglossine bees ('orchid bees') are extraordinarily strong flyers, and have been suggested to act as long-distance pollinators, contributing to gene flow between isolated populations of many tropical plants. We found that gene-flow mediated by these bees might be more limited then previously thought, possibly as a result of habitat fragmentation.
