Why is it important?
The uniqueness of our case is the primary and diffuse involvement of the meninges in absence of a tumor-forming lesion.
Perspectives
Our case represent the first case of HS primarily involving the meninges in which an autopsy was perfomed confirming therefore the location of HS restricted to the meninges. This entity, although rare, has to be kept in mind in the presence of rapidly evolving neurological symptoms
