What is it about?
We found that Tp0768 can promote the migration and adhesion of THP-1 cells to vascular endothelial cells. The PERK and IRE-1α pathways in ER stress can mediate the migration and adhesion of THP-1 cells to endothelial cells by regulating the activation of NF-κB p65 protein and inducing endothelial cells to secrete MCP-1, IL-8, and ICAM-1. Activation of the HIF-1α pathway is also involved in the induction of endothelial cell adhesion by Tp0768.
