What is it about?
FgPrp4 is the only protein kinase among the spliceosome components in eukaryotic organisms. Our data show that FgSnu66, a component of the spliceosome, may function as a substrate of FgPrp4 kinase and its phosphorylation likely relieves the auto-inhibition related to the C-terminal tail region.
