What is it about?

Bacteriophages battle each other for resources, and the efficiency of lytic growth can be compromised by superinfection with other phages. Mycobacteriophage Fruitloop codes for gp52, which binds to and inactivates Wag31 (DivIVA), blocking superinfection by Wag31-dependent phages.
