What is it about?

Using NMR and reciprocal pull down assays, we present the first direct evidence that ToxR and ToxS physically interact. Furthermore, using NMR and DSF, it was shown that the bile salts cholate and chenodeoxycholate interact with purified ToxRp and destabilize it

Perspectives

Using NMR spectroscopy and the backbone assignment of the ToxR dimer we were able to monitor the interaction of the ToxR and ToxS periplasmic domains. Also using 1H,15N HSQC experiment we could follow the destabilizing effect of bile salts on the ToxR periplasmic domain.
