What is it about?

Pathogenic mycobacteria can utilize host-derived lipids and accumulate large amounts of triacylglycerol in the form of intracellular lipid inclusions. We show here that, in Mycobacterium abscessus, this is carried out by the triacylglycerol synthase MAB_3551c.
