Why is it important?

This is the only published bibliography of Sylvia Townsend Warner's publications, and of the critical work that has been done on her, with full publication details . It is therefore an important research resource for all scholars working on STW, from undergraduates to professors.

Perspectives

I compiled this bibliography because it was vital to Sylvia Townsend Warner scholarship to make available a proper bibliography of at least her posthumous publications, and of the commentaries on her. As a bibliography it is incomplete because Part I, listing her own publications, omits those published during her lifetime.; still, half a loaf is better than no bread. The list of criticism since 1978 is, I think, complete .
