What is it about?

Why is it important?
Better knowledge of the phylogenetic relationships in the Saharo-Arabian paleartic naked-toed geckos New species described from South Arabia Evidences of uncovered biodiversity in South Arabia
Perspectives
Writing this article was a true collaborative endevour with all co-authors, from field trips to Oman and Yemen, to working visits to the Natural History Museum of London and the Civic Museum of Natural History Giacomo Doria in Genoa. This works brings new evidence to the Paleartic naked-toed geckos and Tropiocolotes's phylogenies and brings new light to the biodiversity in South Arabia, with the description of a new endemic species.
