Why is it important?

It is important for nurse educators and employers of new graduate nurses to be aware of their need for education about palliative care.

Perspectives

The degree to which new graduate nurses work with people at the end of their lives was unexpected by them. Their sense of isolation especially if they worked in rural areas was obvious.
