The article explains the relationships the problem of diabetic foot ulcer with physical, psychological, social and enviromental factors and present it in different social-cultural conditions of Visegrad countries.

Why is it important?

We need think that some health problenms are not only connect with physical disability but also the psychological factors and enviroment can help keep quality of life in spite of worse health conditionsof patients.

Perspectives

The problem of diabetic foot ulcers is really very serious for patients who are often under fear of amputation and it often could lead to depression and it starts elf-struck circle, it doesn´t help to heal of diabetic foot ulcer. Psychological well-beeing and comfortable enviroment at health care facilities and at home are also very important to patients.
