Why is it important?

This paper describes a new approach to facial acne scar treatment. By combining a new generation of hyaluronic acid and special injecting method we have been able to better us its effect on the sub-dermal fat. This has proven advantageous in the treatment of atrophic acne scars.

Perspectives

This publication is a step in the evolution of modern scar treatment, which is gathering more and more interest world wide. First we have expanded our surgical "tool box" to include laser therapy, then Radio Frequency and now we have biologically active fillers that both help bridge the treatment period with temporary improvement of the scar appearance until the re modulation of the tissues occurs.
