What is it about?

Facial wrinkles, pores and skin tone were measured and compared in Caucasian and African women. It shows that facial aging is complex, that Caucasians show aging signs earlier in life with a few exeptions. I also proves ColorFace a new and reliable tool to assess facial aging.

Why is it important?

Publications where facial aging of women living in Africa is measured and compared to other ethnic groups are rare. This publication helps filling this gap. In addition, it proposes a novel, easy to use imaging system.

Perspectives

It add to the knowledge of facial aging in Caucasian women, and most of all in African women. In addition, it establishes the ColorFace imaging device as a new and reliable tool for researchers.
