What is it about?
A longitudinal study in health care workers has shown that those who experience violence at work have unfavorable consequences, such as distress and reduced perception of social support. Workers with distress and reduced social support are more exposed than others to workplace violence. Workplace violence and work-related stress are in a cyclical association.
