In this work we show how to isolate the predominant microorganisms from H2 producing reactors.

Why is it important?
With the isolates we can test the metabolic pathways involved, we can analyze the interaction of the different microorganisms and we can constructed artificial consortiums.
Perspectives
We hope this article can help to have more isolates from H2 producing reactors and then to have more information of the microbial bases of the dark fermentation process.
