Would be baseline for future research on these small indigenous freshwater fishes

Perspectives

This specie are only found some stream waters in the Dinajpur and Sylhet regions of Bangladesh. Abundance of these indigenous fishes are declining day by day so initiatives should be taken to conserve these species.
