What is it about?

It i believed the neuromast are important structures for triggering feeding in halibut larvae. If they are lost during culture then increased mortality occurs

Perspectives

This gave me the opportunity to work with a talented undergraduate student and test a long held hypothesis that some larval systems for halibut are sub-optimal and cause larval losses.
