What is it about?

This invited article was the first comprehensive review of caloric vestibular stimulation (CVS) studies to appear in the literature. It presents the neurobiological rationale for applying CVS in the investigation and potential treatment of attentional disorders, mood disorders, and pain conditions, along with examination of CVS in a variety of other novel cognitive and clinical contexts.
