What is it about?

This paper presents the results of a study to examine the outcomes of syndicate group work (tutor-less groups) in the undergraduate dental curriculum. The study examined student perceptions of tutor-less groups for learning key principles of partial denture design. The tutorless groups were rated more positively than the more usual tutorial approach with the tutor taking a greater role.
