Guidelines for the set-up of centralized Pharmacy units for the preparation and handling of cytotoxic drugs are continuously implemented, and anyway the content of this paper is still up-to-date. There is the need of a continuous monitoring by Institutions and health services of the working conditions that can guarantee safety to operators and patients, while preventing errors and incidents.
