What is it about?
Equations and concepts at about particle nanoparticle growth applied to understand and to model mechanisms of growth of nanoparticles during synthesis and crystallization. Due intrinsic thermal characteristic of events in the temperature domain, each mechanism of growth is characterized by proper Activation Energy.

Why is it important?
The understanding of how nanoparticles growth is reached. Neither all nanoparticles are functional due the intrinsic magnitude of size. In fact, functionality is function of diameter of nanoparticle and its correlation with concentration and type of defect at nanoparticle defect. Furthermore, a set of constants and energetic parameters can be derived providing robust feedback to theoretical approach of grain growth phenomenon, now nanoparticle growth phenomenon.
Perspectives
During processing, the size of particle/nanoparticle growth of a great number of oxides and metals can be modeled. Specific mechanisms nanoparticle/particle growth in the temperature domain can be easily found. The theory and application one are implemented in simple way. Nanostructures oxides, metals e ceramic metal cermet can be visited in accordance with approach described in the paper text.
