African Christians have embraced Holy Spirit movements and churches in ways that are phenomenal. These churches, simply called Pentecostal/charismatic, have done a lot to change the face of Christianity in Africa.

Perspectives

Pentecostal/charismatic churches and movements in Africa clearly now dominate the religious scene. We do not have to endorse every method they use in terms of worship, preaching and teaching. However their contribution to the development of Africa as a major Christian heartland in the 21st century is not in doubt.
