Perspectives
This study is a vital step in identifying the key elements of an educational programme based on Jordanian patients’ perceptions of learning needs for patients who underwent a PCI procedure or open heart surgery. Utilizing the findings of this study will help nurses to know what learning topics have priority for the patient who has undergone a PCI and open-heart surgery to assist them to overcome the acute stage of recovery, particularly after hospital discharge.
