Why is it important?

This is the first paper that document the increasing usage of this technique by and with nurses and demonstrates that the complexity of the techniques being used are increasing. The literature is dominated by studies from high income countries and comes mainly from North America

Perspectives

The paper demonstrates the versatility of this technique and provides insights into potential opportunities for further research either by replicating existing studies with differing groups or addressing the gaps in the research agenda (need for more studies that look at interventions rather than simply describing network architecture).
