we know that it is possible to reduce the psychosocial risks of employees with very small interventions. And this study emphasizes that the job satisfaction of nurses is increased by the regulation of working environment.

Why is it important?

Positive workplace environment that includes participative management structure, support for educational/professional development and autonomy, and staffing and resource adequacy plays an important role for clinical nurses satisfaction.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to clinical nurses and other health workers working with them contacting me. I also noticed that there were different problems of the hospital environment during this study.
