What is it about?
The prevalence of obesity has markedly increased in older patients, who continue to represent one of the fastest growing segments of the population in developed countries. Only a few studies have specifically examined the health benefits of endurance training alone (ET) or combined with diet (ETD) among obese adults aged over 60. The aim of this review was thus to assess the health benefits of endurance training alone or combined with diet for obese people aged over 60.
