Reducing particle sizes increases homogeneity of the mixtures and their reactivity, which are very important in ceramics to achieve good grains connectivity and higher electric properties

Why is it important?

Our work points out to an improved density and homogeneity of final samples and good electrical connectivity between grains without great modification of Seebeck coefficient. These effects improve thermoelectric performance of this material

Perspectives

In my opinion, it is possible to improve performances of thermoelectric ceramics without expensive and complex systems. It is only necessary to use the adequate synthesis conditions.
