Why is it important?

It extends the work undertaken by scholars in the field, and looks at a way of operationalizing intersectionality theory through the development of a framework which explains outcomes and disadvantage for various groups.

Perspectives

This paper is important in extending intersectionality theory, a growing area of research which I hope that can be built on further by scholars in the field, and to develop more conversations around this important theory.
