Two social group activities (social club/café and alumni) were significantly associated with less cognitive decline in Elderly.

Why is it important?
Some types of social activities(senior cafés and alumni activities) can prevent cognitive decline. This effect can be explained by cognitive stimualtion, emotional stabilization and reminisce old memories.
Perspectives
Social activities can be importast to prevent cognitive decline. This types of studies need to be done in other elderly group with various cultural background.
