Why is it important?

Open borders have been discussed from a wide range of philosophical perspectives. It is supported by free market advocates, liberal theorists, radical Marxists, religious leaders, and others. Thus it should not be dismissed as utopian but can serve as a model to be aspired.

Perspectives

Both open borders and no borders should inspire public and political debate, esp. in light of thousands of deaths in the Mediterranean Sea and at other international borders.
