What is it about?
We test if Allen's rule--a biogeographic pattern of increased relative appendage size with increased temperature--applies to rodents globally. We find support for this pattern only in the tail, but not for the hind foot or the ear.

Why is it important?
We used the latest molecular phylogeny dataset available (a sample of trees) along with the largest morphometric dataset to date and up-to-date phylogenetic comparative methods and spatial methods to test this pattern.
Perspectives
I enjoyed working on this project with some of the best researchers in their respective fields.
