What is it about?
This work shows the participation of brain angiotensin as a modulatory system in neuroadaptative responses to psychostimulant, that involve structural and nociceptive alterations.

Why is it important?
We provided new evidences that extend the possible use of angiotensin receptor blockers as pharmacological tools in psychostimulants neurovascular detrimental effects. The protective effects of AT1 receptor antagonist are important since similar neurovascular alterations have been observed in mental disorders.
