Why is it important?

It is hoped that the paper will enable practitioners to make informed decisions about choosing a standardised test of reading comprehension, especially where children's inferential abilities are a concern.

Perspectives

The paper offers an analysis of the 'New Salford Sentence Reading Test' mentioned in a previous publication (Williams, 2013/2014).
