Bacterial disease on Quercus myrsinifolia

This is the first report of a new bacterial disease by unknown Xanthomonad occurring on ever green oak in the nurseries in Japan. Currently, the disease has expanded to other Quercus species. It is necessary to inform the people in countries where evergreen oaks are distributed as soon as possible.
