What is it about?

Vertical sound source localisation is a crucial task for a flying acoustic parasitoid like Emblemasoma auditrix. As they find their host in the natural habitat it was asumed that they can locate the sound in elevated positions. We shown for the first time that the free flying animals adjust their phonotactic behaviour to the elevation of the sound source.
