What is it about?
The Lord’s Supper is the fudamental sacrament of the Christian Church. In this article, I have shown for the first time the Neo-pentecostal interpretation of the Lord’s Supper largely as the “miracle meal” by which God imparts material blessings of health and wealth to the communicants.

Why is it important?
Interpreting the Lord’s Supper as a means of acquiring material prosperity is very provocative and intriguing. This Neo-Pentecostal novel interpretation of the Lord’s Supper is significant because it does not distort or contradict the Christian traditional significance of the Lord’s Supper either as a means of grace or as a memorial service in remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection, but rather broadens and complements it.
Perspectives
Writing this article has led me to rediscover Martin Luther’s interpretation of the Lord’s Supper not as a harmful food from which we should flee, but rather as “pure, wholesome, soothing medicine that aids you and gives you life in both soul and body.” Thus, Luther believes it is a precious antidote to poison in our systems.
