What is it about?
This article proposes a hypothesis that the theology can and must have a significant role in the comprehension of current economic-social reality. Taking on examples that portrait the frequent usage of religious terms among companies' executives, economists, political and social analysts, it shows that the discourse of the market system assumes a dogmatic faith in the market and that the theological concept of idolatry can be very useful on the unveiling of the fascinanting and sacrificial character of the system
