What is it about?

The aim of this study was to evaluate the preformance of biomedical scientists (BMS) providing ROSE adequancy assessment and the potential for a BMS-rendered diagnosis.

Why is it important?

To ensure optimal material for lung cancer diagnosis and staging, the ROSE procedure has been successfully introduced in many contries. However, this procedure introduces and added workload for the pathology laboratories in a time of limited consultant resources. Can BMS do EBUS-ROSE?
