What is it about?

Genetic condition in which females are born with miniature eyes and scars on the face, males however almost always die.

Why is it important?

Not many cases of this rare syndrome have been reported and all past cases are from amongst caucasians; this report highlights a family from arab ethnicity.

Perspectives

It is important to recognize such rare cases and help collect data so that more information can be gathered, and probably a support group can be formed for affected families as well as guide for further way ahead in management.
