What is it about?

Why is it important?
This study shapes our understanding of how provincial oral health programs can minimise socioeconomic disparity in the use of dental care services. The findings show socioeconomic disparities tend to be wider in the province with minimal oral health support compared to provinces with moderate or broader oral health support.
Perspectives
To the best of my knowledge, this study is the first to compare the effect of different provincial public support programs for oral health care in Canada. It provides a spatial dimension to existing studies on the subject in the Canadian context
