What is it about?

Cell death is a common feature in neurological disease of different origins. Generation of new neurons in brain tissue after injury is very limited and therefore strategies to promote neuron formation from neural stem cells need to be investigated. We have found a plant derived substance that facilitates the generation of neurons in the adult brain.
