What is it about?

Collaborative/ Active learning strategies improve the overall learner experience. This paper introduces a technology to implement and enact such active learning following pyramid structured collaborations. Results obtained from our experiences provide positive evidence towards the new technology.

Why is it important?

We introduce an easily configurable application for teachers to design activities that are flexible. Also a simple tool for students to interact with either via mobile devices or desktops which has in-built collaboration mechanisms like a chat application. Our findings show positive perception towards PyramidApp by both teachers and students.

Perspectives

This article is a snapshot of a long research which includes many inspiring work by other researches also. Moreover my co-author has a broad knowledge in collaborative learning and working with her was a great pleasure and a learning experience.
