What is it about?

This paper explores how apps designed for mobile devices could support reflection in learning. It presents two functional and publicly, freely available web apps for supporting reflection: TeamUp and ReFlex.

Why is it important?

Reflection is a crucial activity that turns normal work into a learning opportunity. Supporting reflection both in formal and informal learning is the key to improved performance and life-long learning.

Perspectives

I was involved in the design of these two web apps. As they were enthusiastically adopted by teachers around Europe, we saw that we had created something valuable. The apps are publicly available as open source software and can be used directly on any modern browser.
