What is it about?

In our publication, we report on “evaluate the effects of hormones and drugs administration under artificial conditions”. This is significant because “we showed for the first time the effect of the administration of Buserelin (GnRHa) combined with the third generation dopaminergic antagonists, Clozapine & Olanzapine and adrenoceptors agonist and antagonist, Salbutamol & Metoprolol on FOM and spawning respectively”.

Why is it important?

This research completed under artificial conditions by hormones and drugs administration in kutum Rutilus frisii kutum, the species is one of the important commercial and endemic fish in the Caspian Sea, and this study was performed because its reserves was reduced. The drugs used in this study have innovation in artificial culture white fish (kutum).

Perspectives

• We have presented a new method of artificial rearing of kutum. • This method was the use of novel drugs as the third generation in dopaminergic system. • The comparison between D2, D4, β1 and β2 receptors belong to dopaminergic and adrenergic systems was performed on successful spawning, ovulation and FOM. • We showed the dopaminergic and adrenergic systems had opposite effects.
